Meet PK’s Medical Director Dr. Harold Jackson

Dr. Harold Jackson is an active practicing family physician in Riverside since 1977. Dr. Jackson has served as Project K.I.N.D.’s Medical Director since 2000. He is very passionate about helping those who are less fortunate by removing barriers to improve access to quality health care.

About Us

Project K.I.N.D. was created by the Riverside County Medical Association (RCMA), in April of 1994, to provide free health care to children, ages 5-17, with acute illnesses who do not qualify for Medi-Cal and who have no health insurance.

Project K.I.N.D. collaborates with local school districts and a network of health care providers who donate their services to provide free health care services to low-income children attending Riverside County public schools.

The focus of the healthcare offered is to address the immediate need of the child, manage pain and assist in returning the child to school as soon as possible.  Whether the child needs to see a medical provider, needs eye glasses, needs a cavity taken care of or needs assistance with a pharmaceutical service, Project K.I.N.D. has the infrastructure to address those needs and improve the child’s health.
