"Project K.I.N.D provides a valuable service to the young under-served population of our region. My staff and I really enjoyed helping those young patients. I am honored to be part of this program."

Provider Network

This outstanding service which started with a handful of physicians now has a growing network of volunteer providers, including pediatricians, family physicians, dentists, optometrists, and mobile lice technicians. Project K.I.N.D. (Kids in Need of Doctors) stands as a highly successful organization, annually delivering services valued at several hundred thousand dollars.

All appointment coordination is managed through the Project K.I.N.D. office. Participating providers do not directly receive calls from schools or parents. If you receive a call, please direct them to contact Project K.I.N.D.'s office at 951-686-1976.
The program collaborates with the provider's office staff to monitor the In-Kind charitable contributions, and an annual summary is directly provided to the provider for tax purposes.

Project K.I.N.D. is a project of the Riverside County Physicians Memorial Foundation (Tax ID # 95-6080778) which is a 501(c)3 organization.
Project K.I.N.D. offers a simple and convenient method for healthcare providers to regulate their level of generosity. A participation form is available, enabling healthcare professionals to choose the extent of care they wish to donate for children. Providers determine and set their own generosity margin in advance, with the flexibility to adjust it as needed.

If you are currently treating a Project K.I.N.D. child and prescribing medication, we recommend informing Project K.I.N.D. after the appointment so that we may cover the cost of the prescription at one of our participating pharmacies.
Project K.I.N.D. maintains a well-established partnership with local hospitals. If you have a child in need of emergency services, please contact the PK office. For immediate assistance, advise them to dial 911.
