February is the start of Children’s Oral Health Month and Project K.I.N.D. partnered with American Dental Association’s Give Kids A Smile program and offers a variety of services for uninsured children of Riverside County. Project KIND invites participating providers to join the fight against child’s oral health disease. Several events are scheduled through the spring and throughout the county in hopes of treating as many children as possible. No task is to big or to small, the children get all the care they need . From preventative to restorative care, these providers do not shy away from offering their skills, staff and supplies to all Project KIND referred children ensuring their treatment plans are completed.
Dr. Nageen Zareh hosted a dental clinic on March 11th, 2020 as she does every year. Hosting a dental clinic means she closes her offices for one day and only treats children scheduled by Project K.I.N.D. All services are free and there is Zero Out of Pocket Cost for the families. Dr. Zareh continues to schedule the children throughout her busy weekly schedule until all the work is done. The amount of work she offers for free is commendable and life changing for the children who otherwise would not have their dental needs addressed.
